Atlas Images

File Format: FITS binary table

Name: fpAtlas-rrrrrr-c-ffff.fit, where rrrrrr is the imaging run number, c is the column location in the Imaging Array of the CCD which acquired the data (1-6), and ffff is the field number within the run.

Produced by: frames

Used by:

Size: This is a guess. Say 400 objects per field, with an average atlas image measuring 10x10 pixels. Then 665.28 Kb per file. One file per field. Total of 665.28 Mb for a single frames pipeline run with 1000 fields.

Archived? Yes. Tracked file.

Description

Contains the atlas images for all objects detected in a single field.
