Firefly Stellar Population Models of SDSS and eBOSS galaxy spectra

We measure the stellar population properties (ages, metallicities, dust reddening, stellar masses and star formation histories) for all spectra classified as galaxies that were published by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (data release 14) or by the DEEP2 galaxy surveys. We perform full spectral fitting (using FIREFLY) on the individual spectra with high spectral resolution stellar population models. We publish catalogs of properties as well as model spectra of the continuum of these galaxies as a value added catalog to the fourteenth data release of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. This catalog is about twice as large as its predecessors (DR12).
