New Mexico State University operates Apache Point Observatory, home of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey's telescope, under an agreement with ARC. Although not a participant in the Sky Survey, NMSU provides operations personnel and facilities to operate and maintain the Sky Survey telescopes and data acquisition systems.
