Value Added Catalogs

In addition to the primary SDSS photometry and spectroscopy, there are a few extra catalogs created by our collaborators that are distributed through the SAS. These Value-Added Catalogs (VACs) are listed below, and include catalogs that were released in earlier data releases.

Abstract

This catalog presents a crossmatch of MaStar targets with photometry from Gaia DR2, Gaia EDR3, PanSTARRS-1, and 2MASS, and spectral type information from Simbad. Extinction-corrected absolute magnitude and colors based on the Gaia photometry are derived using 3D dust map (Green et al. 2020) and Bailer-Jones distances (Bailer-Jones et al. 2018 Bailer-Jones et al. 2021).
