In addition to the primary SDSS photometry and spectroscopy, there are a few extra catalogs created by our collaborators that are distributed through the SAS. These Value-Added Catalogs (VACs) are listed below, and include catalogs that were released in earlier data releases.
DR14 APOGEE-TGAS Catalogue
Astro-spectrophotometric distances, extinctions and orbit parameters for stars in the overlap sample between APOGEE and TGAS.
Abstract
The first data release of the Gaia mission contains improved parallaxes and proper motions for more than 2 million stars contained in the Tycho-2 catalogue. These were presented within the Tycho-Gaia Astrometric Solution (TGAS) sample. Among these stars are 46,033 objects contained within the APOGEE DR14 allStar catalogue. We provide the cross-matched catalogue, as well as precise astro-spectro-photometric distances, extinctions, and orbital parameters for more than 30,000 stars in the APOGEE-TGAS dataset.
