Some suggested places to get started:
- We provide a high-level introduction to the Black Hole Mapper program aimed at general readers, as well as a more detailed introduction for scientists. For further information about BHM’s science themes and survey plans, please see the description of the BHM science programs.
- BHM primarily makes use of the BOSS optical spectrographs (initially using plug-plates at APO, and more recently using the new FPS robotic positioners at both APO and LCO). Dedicated pages are provided giving further details about the SDSS-V instrumentation, BHM target selection, BHM data and the BOSS pipeline.
- For hand-on examples of how to use BHM data please consult the Tutorials and Value Added Catalog web pages (and links therefrom).
