Value Added Catalogs

In addition to the primary SDSS photometry and spectroscopy, there are a few extra catalogs created by our collaborators that are distributed through the SAS. These Value-Added Catalogs (VACs) are listed below, and include catalogs that were released in earlier data releases.

Abstract

This value added catalog contains DA double dwarf binary candidates, discovered in the MWM optical spectra released in DR19. There are 60 double white dwarf binaries candidates reported in this catalog, of which 43 are new discoveries within this data set. The catalog contains both SDSS and Gaia DR3 IDs, radial velocities, radial velocitiy errors, observation times, and radial velocity variability parameters. Full details on target selection, analysis, binary candidates, and the subsequent constraints on the binary population are presented in Adamane Pallathadka et al. (2026).
